2021/2022 JLNS Bunny O'Brien Award

  • 21 May 2022

It's the time of year to nominate yourself or another worthy JLNS member for the Bunny O'Brien Award for the 2021/22 League year. Bunny's Legacy has been celebrated by this award for many years and represents Commitment, Accountability and Community Spirit. Please take the time and nominate the person that for you has shown all of these characteristics.

Bunny O’Brien was a Past President of Oakland East Bay and a founding member of the Junior League of Napa-Sonoma. She was the driving force behind the establishment of this organization. It was her idea that the communities in Napa and Sonoma Counties could benefit from a Junior League of their own. During her life she demonstrated her commitment to community in a variety of ways. She volunteered with numerous organizations whose efforts benefited the arts, humanity and the environment. Those who had the good fortune to know her were touched by her quiet strength, warmth and sense of humor. This award was created in her memory following her death in 1995.
