Training: Understanding Burnout & Cultivating Your Scale of Warning Signs

Sunday April 10, 2022 10:30a-12p

Do you routinely find yourself completely overwhelmed by the sensation of feeling burnout -- only to realize at that point that caring for yourself had become such an emergency, you had barely any energy to do so? Do you notice that the only time you are able to prioritize your needs is when you get sick and are in the habit of caring for yourself just enough to get back to work? (And repeat.)

This workshop will teach you how to identify symptoms of burnout in your own life and proceed in cultivating a spectrum of burnout warning signs -- similar to a pain scale at the doctor's office. This individualized tool is useful to determine the level of burnout you might be grappling with and what to do about it. Ultimately, this tool supports you in catching yourself at earlier and earlier intervals of stress when your symptoms are easier to manage and care for. Utilizing this powerful tool is both deeply affirming and immediately applicable.

About the Speaker: Mara Glatzel, MSW (she/her) is an intuitive coach, writer, and podcast host. She is a needy human who helps other needy humans stop abandoning themselves and start reclaiming their humanity through embracing their needs and honoring their natural energy cycles. Her superpower is saying what you need to hear when you need to hear it and she is here to help you believe in yourself as much as she believes in you. Find out more at MaraGlatzel.com
